The 4th New York City Climate Justice Youth Summit is happening August 6 & 7th!!! Why should you join us- because Katrina, Sandy, droughts in the West Coast and tornadoes in Brooklyn are reminders climate change is already here and it is already having a devastating impact on our communities and the global south and we may be the first and last generation able to do something about it !
This year 's NYC Climate Justice Youth Summit is a Call to Action. We hope you will join us to learn about the connection between fossil fuel extraction and climate justice and how we can inter-generationally build climate adaptable and resilient communities while also building climate justice consciousness. The Summit will also be our organizing jump off to get young people ready for what we hope will be the biggest climate march in NYC history-the People's Climate March. Early registration guarantees you free gear, food, entertainment, and other goodies in addition to providing you with tons of information on what to do locally, internships, fellowships, volunteer and organizing opportunities. Come to the Summit and join us in raising awareness while slowing down climate change!
