Art Salad is a free lunchtime discussion forum. Artists, historians, educators, and curators share multipoint perspectives into the world of contemporary art. You are welcome to bring a lunch or enjoy on-site food truck lunch options WiLDWiCH, KOI on the Go, and Kapow. Offered jointly with the University of Delaware Osher Lifelong Institute.

This year's Christi Awards on October 23rd will be a festival celebrating the diversity and energy of Wilmington's arts community, with the centerpiece of the evening the awards ceremony itself. The artistry continues at multiple venues around Market Street, including live performances, art presentations, student showcases and more. The evening will feature exhibitions and performances by creatives from the Mid-Atlantic region, CCAC faculty, alumni and partner cultural institutions. Local restaurants and regional wine and spirits producers will offer delectable specialties at stations throughout the event.

This event is being curated by Christina Cultural Arts Center.

The 40 under 40 award is given to 40 outstanding Delaware industry professionals under the age of 40 who stand out in all aspects of their lives. The nomination process included a 3 month public nomination acceptance phase with each nominee reviewed in 4 qualifying areas; role models, their long-impact on Delaware, Education and other accolades or accomplishments and direct community impact. The ceremony will take place on September 27th staring at 3:00 p.m. Downstairs at World Cafe Live located at 500 N. Market Street. Tickets are currently on sale.
