Blessings.My name is Maia.I live in the "south" of Canada, Lethbridge Alberta.Represent First Nations.
Im trying to create some change in my community by starting a hiphop program for the youth.
There has been an alarming increase in extremely violent crimes, perscription pill deaths, suicides, street gang activity, and suspicious deaths.There is also a lot of racism in the city as well.
I think is amazing to live in a time when people are having panel discussions on Hip Hop Activism.
It is a powerful vehicle for positive change in this crazy world.
